A musical duo redefining classical performance
For over 10 years, Bridge & Wolak have been having a ball twisting up classical, folk music, and improv comedy. Their Bach to Benny Goodman Tour has made stops in 5 Canadian provinces and 20 US states.
Equally dedicated to education, they founded the Bridge & Wolak Music Mentorship Program in 2020—an online program for high-schoolers to explore careers in the arts.
Accordion & Piano
Michael Bridge began playing the accordion at age five. He performs on both digital and acoustic accordions, showcasing versatility across various musical genres. Bridge holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Toronto and was a Rebanks Fellow at the Glenn Gould School.
Clarinet & Piano
Kornel Wolak is a clarinetist and pianist with a doctorate from the Paderewski Music Academy in Poznan, Poland. He has an extensive background in solo and chamber music performances and is on the faculty at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.
Flagship Tango-Fusion Production
Tangorium is Bridge & Wolak's flagship production—a tango-fusion show performed with symphony orchestras or in collaboration with dance companies.
The production explores the evolution of tango from Buenos Aires to its international presence, blending classical virtuosity with the passionate rhythms of tango.

Founded in 2020, the Bridge & Wolak Music Mentorship Program is an online program designed for high school students interested in exploring careers in the arts.
The program provides guidance, resources, and mentorship to help young musicians navigate their path toward professional careers in music and the performing arts.
